Kin Seong joined Madderns as a Trainee Patent & Trade Marks Attorney, after completing his Ph.D. studies in Electronic Engineering at The University of Adelaide. During his Ph.D. candidature, he was attached to the Adelaide Auto-ID Laboratory, with his research specialising in the areas of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system and network, High Frequency (HF) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) antenna designs for RFID applications, electromagnetic compatibility relating to RFID standards and regulations, RFID reader synchronisation, deployment and optimisation, and studies on electromagnetic simulation and modelling.
Currently he is enrolled in the course of Master of Industrial Property to be qualified as a Patent & Trade Marks Attorney.
Outside work, Kin Seong enjoys reading Chinese literature and English fantasy stories. He is also a chess enthusiast, a frequent moviegoer and a fan of computer related technologies.
