He became a registered Patent and Trade Marks Attorney in 1987, and entered the partnership of Madderns in 1988.
Craig has significant experience in patent, design and trade mark work acting for a number of major Australian companies in the mining, manufacturing and child safety industries. He also has a significant trade mark practice, particularly relating to the wine industry. He also has many years of experience in relation to patent and trade mark oppositions and patent litigation in the Federal Court of Australia.
Craig is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Asian Patent Attorneys Association, the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Licensing Executive Society. Craig is a past Regional Chair and Trustee of the Licensing Executive Society.
Outside of work, Craig constantly tries to improve his ability to hit a golf ball and has a passionate interest in the flying of gliders cross-country in the Riverland areas of South Australia and Victoria. He is also on the lookout for that perfect bottle of red wine (all suggestions gratefully accepted). |
